For Kelly AlMuhairi, a passionate educator based in Abu Dhabi, the decision to pursue Level 4 and 5 qualifications in early childhood education wasn’t just about ticking a box — it was about rewriting her entire professional journey. The catalyst for Kelly’s transition came when rumours began circulating that KG teachers in the UAE would require formal early childhood degrees.

“I’d been teaching KG1, and the whispers started — you’ll need an early childhood qualification. I didn’t want to risk losing my job, so I started researching.”

Choosing iQe & TQUK Level 4 and 5

“It was non-stop. I worked full-time, studied, and took care of my kids — but within a year, I had everything I needed to start my bachelor’s. I even completed my PGCE module right after.”

“I’d be in tutorials on weekends, at Chuck E. Cheese with my kids playing around me, or on the sidelines of a rugby pitch with headphones in — but I made it work.”
