This training aims at gaining understanding of Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which “students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.”
Topics covered include:
- An introduction to PBL (Project Based Learning)
- How to design a PBL unit
- Developing skills in PBL
- The role of the teacher in PBL (feedback, questioning, assessment)
- Collaborative planning of PBL (In this session, we would get the attendees to work together in groups to plan a project that they can actually implement in their class so that they leave the training feeling that they have really achieved something and with something solid to implement.)
